Melody whelped 9 girls on 4/18. We have a preference for people geographically in or near North Carolina & surrounding states though this litter is likely fully reserved. We expect smooth and feathered coats.

We are planning a mid-to-late 2026 litter with Folklore using frozen semen. The dam-to-be is a reserved and intense Saluki. Though she is content to relax for a day at 3 years old, the litter she comes from is higher energy, and needs regular outlets. I have a strong preference for sighthound experienced homes for her litter.
We are planning to use Jamil for the litter. Jamil was a sweet and mellow Saluki which we think will be complimentary to Folklore. He also had wonderful coursing ability with 8 Best in Fields to his name. Jamil lived to be 14 years old; his sire lived to be 15 years old, and his dam lived to be 13 years old. We hope that he passes on his beautiful type, temperament, and abilities.
This will be a linebreeding on the paternal side. I expect there will be black and tan/silver and fawn colors produced with the possibility of cream. Particolor is unlikely, but possible.
