Fall 2026
We are planning a mid-to-late 2026 litter with Folklore (CH Hayat Sarea Qareen of Hearts JC BCAT). The dam-to-be is a reserved and intense Saluki. Though she is content to relax for a day at nearly 3 years old, the litter she comes from is higher energy, and needs regular outlets. She loves her family, but if you're looking for a Golden Retriever "wants to meet everyone" sort of temperament, this will not be the breeding for you. I have a strong preference for sighthound experienced homes for her litter. We will announce the stud dog and solidified plans once her health testing is complete. At this point in time, we intend to test her heart closer to the time of breeding as to give us the best chances of detecting any abnormalities that might become more apparent with age.
This will be a linebreeding on the paternal side. I expect there will be black and tan/silver and fawn colors produced with the possibility of cream. I think that particolor is unlikely, but the potential sire is untested for the gene.
