We are planning a mid-to-late 2026 litter with Folklore using frozen semen. The dam-to-be is a reserved and intense Saluki. Though she is content to relax for a day at 4 years old, the litter she comes from is higher energy, and needs regular outlets. I have a preference for sighthound or primitive experienced homes for her litter.
We are planning to use Jamil for the litter. Jamil was a sweet and mellow Saluki which we think will be complimentary to Folklore. He also had wonderful coursing ability with 8 Best in Fields to his name. Jamil lived to be almost 13 years old; his sire lived to be 15 years old, and his dam lived to be 13 years old. We hope that he passes on his beautiful type, temperament, and abilities.
This will be a line breeding on the paternal side. I expect there will be black and tan/silver and fawn colors produced with the possibility of cream. It is unknown if there will be parti colors.
I am searching for male homes, particularly for a home or two that might be interested in showing or who are close enough to NC to allow us to show a male from this litter. However, if you're looking for a female or live farther away please feel free to apply as well.
