This litter is still being raised and so none have their permanent names yet, but I will update them later. We are still actively deciding a few placements for these puppies, and so I am taking applications.
Melody came to us on a lease to repeat the breeding that had produced a singleton smooth girl on her previous cycle; we had wanted a puppy from the breeding, but there was not one for us at that time so we chose to try again and we're so glad we did. Nine more girls was the result of both smooth and feathered coat types. I had thought about doing a different theme for some time and was almost set on that, but after being stalled in a snowstorm in West Virginia on our drive to Canada in February for nearly four hours, and then driving through various tornado watches and high winds for her ultrasound appointment, I thought that fate must have chosen a weather theme for me. I almost changed it to 9 muses after the birth of 9 girls in a row, but there are really 10 full sister girls as they have their undisputed big sister who already lives in Canada with Melody's owner, Susie Konopa.
